The Talega Tiger Sharks are currently practicing at the Saluda Pool. All lanes will be closed from 4PM-5PM and partial lanes will be closed from 5PM-6PM.

Holiday Decorating

Section II, Item M, of the General Guidelines of the Talega Maintenance Corporation Rules, Regulations and Policies state: Holiday lighting or decorations are permitted without DRC approval and may be displayed not more than thirty (30) days prior to and removed within 15 days after the holiday.

Holiday lighting or decorations are not permitted on association Common Areas, including but not limited to streetlights, street signs, walls, monuments or other common area property.

Out of Town Guests Coming for the Holidays?

As a reminder, no vehicles may be parked on the TMC property streets between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. (early morning hours) seven days a week without a safelist. Parking is enforced in Talega by Patrol One. You can contact them directly at (949) 367-8055 or www.patrol-one.com to safelist a vehicle for up to 14 nights within a 30-day period. 

• You must create a safelisting profile at  www.patrol-one.com for your address to receive a temporary safelist for yourself or visitor/guest. Their license plate will act as their permit to park overnight after they receive their safelist confirmation number (and only for the dates selected). 
• You must have an Activation Code in order to create your profile. These codes were mailed out in December 2019. If you don’t know your code, contact talega@ciramail.com. 

Be sure to place the confirmation number on the windshield from the inside of the vehicle. 

If you live in a sub-association, contact your own management company to find out their particular parking rules and parking patrol vendor. Those communities would be: Carmel, Trinidad, Gallery, Verano, and Talega Village (Alassio/Santalana).

The City of San Clemente is hosting SC Social: Game Night on Friday, November 15th from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Community Center at 100 N. Calle Seville, San Clemente, CA 92672.

This event is the perfect opportunity to unwind and have some fun with your friends!

Introducing SC SOCIAL, meet-ups for middle schoolers! Enjoy monthly events hosted by the Recreation Division. SC Social is a safe environment to have fun, make new friends, and get involved in the community. A registration fee and advance registration is required.

The City of San Clemente is hosting its 5th Annual Gingerbread House Contest on Saturday, December 7th from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Community Center at 100 N. Calle Seville, San Clemente, CA 92672. 

Welcoming All Gingerbread House Architects!

We invite you to participate in this year's community-wide holiday contest, the 5th Annual Gingerbread House Contest. Interested gingerbread builders and architects can enter in one of the following divisions:

• Individual Youth (ages 15 & under)
• Individual Adult (16+ years)
• Family/Group (all ages)

Entry into the contest is free and to register, please click here: Gingerbread House Contest 2024.

We will provide a gingerbread baseboard for all contest participants, which will be available for pick-up starting Monday, November 4th from the Community Center and/or the Aquatic Center. All materials used on the gingerbread houses/structure must be edible.

Completed gingerbread houses must be delivered to the Community Center on Thursday, December 5th from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, or late deliveries on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Gingerbread houses will be on display at the Community Center and judged on December 7, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the “Santa’s Village by the Sea” event.

Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, in each division. In addition, there will be an opportunity to win overall “People’s Choice”. The winning gingerbread houses will be on display at the San Clemente Art Gallery from December 7 - 12, 2024.

Santa Margarita Water District Workshops

The Santa Margarita Water District is hosting a Virtual Class: Drip Irrigation Fundamentals (offered by MWD) on Thursday, November 21st from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

This is a virtual event. Registration is required.

In this workshop you will learn how to:

1. Understanding Soil Moisture Balance
2. Key components of a properly installed drip system
3. Typical problems with drip and how to avoid them
4. Developing a successful maintenance practice
