Wine & Design

Master your exterior architectural submittal like a pro! Join us on Thursday, May 8th at 4PM for Wine and Design, where we blend fine wine with a deep dive into Talega’s architectural guidelines, answer your questions and demystify the review process no matter what stage your project is at.

The City of San Clemente is hosting SC Social Middle School Event: 4th Annual Color Run on Friday, April 25th from 5:00PM - 8:00PM at Vista Hermosa Sports Park at 987 Avenida Vista Hermosa San Clemente, California 92673. 

Run, walk, or jog through bursts of colorful powder as you make your way to the finish line. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest runners and the most color-covered participants.

After the race, stick around for pizza, color dodgeball, tie-dye, and more! Don’t miss this fun, high-energy event filled with color and excitement!

The City of San Clemente is hosting Earth Day Cleanup and Educational Fair on Saturday, April 26th from 9:00AM - 1:00PM at Parque Del Mar at 622 Avenida Del Mar San Clemente, California 92672. 

Please join us for our annual Earth Day Event at the beach! This event includes a coastal cleanup and educational fair. Come learn more about the city’s environmental programs as well as other services offered by the city. We’ll have free giveaways, information booths, city vehicle/equipment displays, fun and games for the kids, and free burritos from Fisherman’s Restaurant for the first 100 who pre-register and attend the beach cleanup! What better way to celebrate our beautiful city and beaches under the sun and on the sand!

The Santa Margarita Water District is hosting a Rainwater Harvesting Workshop on Saturday, April 26th from 9AM - 12:30PM. 

SMWD is excited to offer a hands-on experience installing an active rainwater harvesting system. This class is being offered in collaboration with H2OC Stormwater, Bridges Community Day High School, and Catching H2O. 

This workshop will cover: 

• Designing a rainwater harvesting system and choosing the optimal site
• Preparing the site for a rainwater tank
• Rainwater harvesting system components and how to size and install them: filters, pipes, tank, and hose bibb
• Maintenance and repairs

The Santa Margarita Water District is hosting their Water Festival on Saturday, June 7th from 10AM - 1PM at SMWD Headquarters at 26111 Antonio Parkway Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688.

Enjoy a fun day learning about H2O and getting to know your water provider. Enjoy food and children’s activities, experience a living tide pool, explore the WaterWorks Garden, speak with garden pros, and water district experts. Be sure to plan on viewing the movie, The Journey of Water, and signing up for an Infrastructure Tour.

Check out the upcoming Free Disaster Preparedness Training classes offered by CERT. The CERT Program is designed to prepared citizens with the knowledge and skills necessary to help their families, neighborhoods, and communities in emergency situations.

The next class will take place for 1-2 days a week for four weeks on May 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 28th from 6:30PM - 9:00PM at the San Juan Capistrano Community Center at 25925 Camino Del Avion, San Juan Capistrano, 92675.

The Final Exercise and Graduation is scheduled for Saturday, May 31st from 7:30AM - 1PM.  

Talega is actively seeking a volunteer to join the Design Review Committee. 

The Design Review Committee is responsible for reviewing homeowner submitted architectural revisions.
