Talega residents stepped into a world of wonder on Saturday, November 8th at the Talega Swim & Athletic Club for an afternoon packed with glowing liquids, flying objects, and plenty of “whoa!” moments for kids and parents alike. Two sessions, held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., gave residents a chance to experience the magic of science up close.
Designed especially for K–5th grade students, Science Day brought learning to life through interactive demonstrations and hands-on experiments that mixed fun with fascination. The energy was contagious as young scientists explored interactive demonstrations and watched the Mad Scientist captivate the crowd with exciting, hands-on experiments.
What made the day truly special was not just the experiments, but the spark of discovery that lit up every face. Parents watched with pride as their children asked questions, tested predictions, and dove headfirst into the excitement of science. The event’s blend of education and entertainment turned curiosity into connection, showing once again that learning together can be just as fun as playing together. From bubbling beakers to bright smiles, the day proved that the future of science and the Talega spirit are shining brighter than ever.
