On Saturday, August 30th, 2025, the community gathered at the Swim & Athletic Club for an unforgettable evening of island-inspired celebration at Talega’s annual Tiki Luau. The pool deck transformed into a tropical paradise with vibrant décor and the sounds of live Hawaiian music floating through the warm summer air.
Guests enjoyed Hawaiian-inspired cuisine and drinks from the poolside bars, creating the perfect setting to mingle with neighbors and soak in the festive atmosphere. Throughout the evening, families stopped at the photo ops, capturing colorful memories against backdrops of palm leaves and island flair.
The highlight of the night came with Polynesian dancers and live hula performances, captivating the audience with graceful movements, authentic costumes, and powerful drumming. As the sun set, the excitement built to a spectacular fire dancer performance, which lit up the night sky and drew cheers and applause from the crowd.
As the event came to a close, residents were gifted pineapple cookies brought in from Hawaii — a sweet keepsake to take home along with memories of a truly magical summer evening. The Talega Luau was more than just a party — it was a chance for neighbors to connect, celebrate community, and experience the aloha spirit right here in San Clemente. 🌴✨
