The most amazing potato recipe! Mix 1 can of cream chicken soup, 1/2 cup of grated onion, 2 lb. of frozen or diced potatoes, 1 tsp of salt or lawrys, 1 tsp of pepper, 1 pint of sour cream, and 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese. Top the casserole with 1/2 cup of melted butter and 1-2 cups of crushed corn flakes. Bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Enjoy!
Our family always enjoys my moms “Goodie Salad”. Interesting ingredients but sooo yummy.
Whip a quarter carton of Whip Cream. Add 1 block of cream cheese (cut into bite size pieces), crushed walnuts, jar of cherries (don’t forget to drain the liquid and cut the cherries in half), large can of crushed pineapple (drain the liquid), 1/2 bag to full bag of mini marshmallows. Thats it.
Homemade Thanksgiving Cranberry Sauce
* 1/2 lb fresh cranberries
* 1 tbsp. grated orange and lemon zest
* 1/4 cup orange juice
* 3 tbsp. lemon juice
* 1/2 c sugar
* 1 tsp vanilla
2 c water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Put all the ingredients with a (*) before them 1st six ingredients and 1.5 c of the water into a sauce pan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and cook (about 8 minutes) Dissolve remaining 1/2 c of water and cornstarch and add to sauce pan mixture. Reduce heat to medium and stir constantly until thickens. (about 2 min) Remove from heat & cool. ENJOY!!!
Easiest & Best Crab Dip ever
2 cans crab meat (rinse & drain)
1 pkge cream cheese (room temp)
small handful of cocktail shrimp (chopped)
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1/4 c finely chopped celery
3 tbsp. miracle whip
2 tbsp. sour cream
Pinch of sugar
Pepper and salt to taste
Blend all ingredients together and chill overnight
